The Positioning House
Most senior leaders were never taught how to protect what they’ve built as organizations and markets change. Let’s change that.
The Positioning House helps senior leaders and executives keep their experience relevant, prove the value they create, make that value easier to recognize, and build options that can travel beyond one role, title, or employer.

What we do
How senior leaders stay competitive
Organizations change what they need. Markets change what they value. The experience that built your career has to remain useful for what comes next. That requires four things.
Relevance
Your experience connects to the problems organizations are solving now and where the business is going next.
Proof
Evidence of the judgment, scope, decisions, and business outcomes behind the value you create.
Recognition
The right people understand what you bring and the level of responsibility your work reflects.
Portability
Your value makes sense beyond your current manager, company, title, or industry.
The Positioning House creates tools, systems, and advisory experiences that help senior leaders strengthen all four.
The Shop
Practical support for the moments that shape what happens next.
The shop gives senior leaders and executives direct access to tools and systems built from more than a decade in recruiting and talent and the work I have completed with over 400 private advisory clients. Use them to prepare for important conversations, respond to organizational change, strengthen how your experience is presented, and make better-informed career moves.

The Executive Read
How strategic leaders stop being overlooked.
The Executive Read is a leadership guide for senior leaders who are doing significant work that is not always being read accurately by the people making decisions. It looks at how executive judgment is evaluated, why strong performance is sometimes misunderstood, and what it takes to make the value of your work visible at the level you operate.

Private Advisory
Direct, confidential work on the decisions that matter most.
Private advisory supports senior leaders and executives navigating decisions where timing, organizational dynamics, reputation, risk, and future direction all need to be considered together. This may include:
- Responding to a reorganization or leadership change
- Deciding whether to stay, leave, or pursue a different path
- Preparing for a promotion or larger role
- Strengthening your position before entering the external market
- Working through a high-stakes leadership or career decision
About Alicia
I have seen these decisions from both sides.
I spent more than a decade in recruiting and talent, including time in the rooms where senior leaders were assessed, hired, promoted, and selected for greater responsibility.
Since then, I have advised more than 400 clients through private advisory, helping them understand how their experience is being interpreted, strengthen the evidence behind their value, and prepare for the decisions that shape what happens next.
I founded The Positioning House to turn that experience into practical tools, systems, and advisory support senior leaders can use throughout their careers. I am also the author of The Executive Read.
